He rocks you to sleep and plays when you wake.
A love like his just cannot be faked.

He'll teach you to throw and then how to catch.
For a dad like this, there's simply no match.

He'll teach you to pass and how to run.
He'll teach you to bake!  Won't that be fun?

He'll write you a song and teach you to play
the drums or guitar.  Can't wait for that day!

He helps us so much.  He helps with a smile.
Even with laundry or new kitchen tile.

How lucky you are to have this kind of dad.
This you will know.  It will make you so glad!

We never had so much fun, until there was you.
But it's not always easy.  I might need a cue.

He reminds us each day how much we are loved,
Especially when the push comes to shove.

Those moments of tension, yes we've had a few,
But he's there to take over when Mommy is through.

He calms us all down when we've had enough.
He makes us laugh, though sometimes it's tough.

Without him there's no chance we'd be doing so well.
His love is a love too amazing to tell.

So, on this Father's Day, he really should know
That our love for him continues to grow!

That love is so big.  That love is so strong
that nothing can break it!  I know I'm not wrong.

That love will keep growing from now 'til forever.
Nothing can stop it.  No, Sir, not ever.
